Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our online casino platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business objectives, user needs, and technical execution, ensuring the delivery of a best-in-class gaming experience. This role requires a strong understanding of the online casino industry, including casino games, player engagement strategies, and external integrations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy and Roadmap

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap aligned with business goals and market trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new features, functionalities, and improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Align with CPO on product strategy and with CEO on overall company strategy.

2. Requirement Gathering and Documentation

• Gather, analyze, and document product requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
• Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows for development teams.

3. Agile Development Leadership

• Act as the primary point of contact between business, design, and technical teams.
• Take an active part in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure timely delivery.
• Prioritize backlog items based on user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.

4. Player-Centric Design and Usability

• Advocate for player-centric design, ensuring the platform provides an engaging and intuitive user experience.
• Conduct usability testing and gather player feedback for informed product decisions.

5. Performance Analysis and Optimization

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure product success.
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and support teams to identify areas for improvement.

6. Security

• Ensure the platform adheres to all relevant gaming regulations and licensing requirements.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks.
• Ensure that the platform maintains top-notch security standards.

The Successful Candidate:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in the online casino or iGaming industry.
• Strong knowledge of casino games, player behavior, and monetization strategies.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Fluent Swedish speaking to minimize misunderstandings and maximize velocity.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with platform integrations (e.g., payment gateways, game providers, third-party tools).
• Knowledge of international gaming regulations (e.g., PAGCOR, MGA, UKGC).
• Familiarity with data analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
