Job Overview:
As the Country Lead for South Korea, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring profitability, and leading strategic initiatives. You will grow and mentor a high-performing team, create a culture of excellence, and oversee the expansion of a key global offering. Your role will involve competitive analysis, business acquisition support, and ensuring that customers remain at the core of everything we do, all while adapting to a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Job Description:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and brand strategy, optimizing mass market player acquisitions while ensuring a healthy ROI.
• Establish market-specific operational processes, reporting, and analytics to professionalize the business while preserving an entrepreneurial and agile spirit.
• Collaborate with the Retention Team to define customer lifecycle strategies and maximize customer lifetime value, working closely with marketing and HVC teams.
• Manage affiliate and digital marketing agreements in collaboration with the Affiliate Team.
• Coordinate operations and monitor performance with Technical, Trading, Product, and Commercial teams.
• Contribute significantly to the P&L for all activities in South Korea.
• Keep up to date with competitor offerings and market developments.
• Work with product development and consumer marketing teams to ensure best-in-class digital customer propositions.
• Define and communicate local market strategies, adjusting tactics as necessary based on market conditions and regulations.
• Contribute to establishing the company as a leader in the crypto-focused iGaming space.
• Leverage brand ambassadors and partnerships, while identifying new opportunities.
• Align with the country and central teams to execute strategies and follow brand guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of information displayed on brand sites.
• Represent the company at industry events and strengthen business development efforts in the market.
• Travel to company offices to foster relationships with internal stakeholders.

The Successful Candidate:

• 3+ years of experience in a Country Lead role within the industry.
• Business-level proficiency in both Korean and English.
• At least 2 years of experience in a B2C environment in South Korea.
• Proven track record in creating, executing, and analyzing marketing campaigns.
• Experience in managing social media (both localized and international).
• Strong experience in managing third-party partner relationships.
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Excellent time and task management abilities, with the capacity to deliver tasks swiftly and accurately.
• Experience in reporting across functions.
• A deep understanding of the Asian gaming and gambling environment, with expertise in customer acquisition and retention.
• Familiarity with multiple gaming verticals and how to optimize profitability.
• Experience in P&L management in a leading gambling operation.
• A proven track record of managing teams in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to be hands-on when required.
