Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong network in the African iGaming market to join our consultancy team. This role requires strategic guidance and a hands-on approach to business development, with a focus on building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the African iGaming market.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Develop short- and long-term sales plans, focusing on achieving agreed goals and objectives.
- Position the company as the most trusted partner by focusing on value rather than cost.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize responsiveness.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform company strategies.
- Lead the entire sales process from lead generation to contract closure.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and seminars to expand market presence.
- Maintain detailed reports on customer prospects, deal status, and required actions.
The Successful Candidate:
- 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the iGaming industry, with a focus on providers offering live dealer, slots, or sportsbook products.
- Extensive network and understanding of the African iGaming market.
- Fluency in English; additional local languages are a plus.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work remotely and travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
