Sportsbook Coordinator - iGaming - Remote within Europe

About the Role:
The Sportsbook Coordinator will support Head of Sports in the day-to-day running, optimisation, and commercial development of the sportsbook across multiple brands and markets.
This is a hands-on sportsbook role suited to someone who understands betting operations, CRM, promotions, customer behaviour, and the importance of strong execution around key sporting events. The role will involve a mix of operational delivery, campaign planning, product coordination, performance monitoring, and commercial analysis.
The Sports Coordinator will act as second-in-command within the sportsbook function, helping ensure that the product is well presented, commercially relevant, operationally controlled, and aligned with wider business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Sportsbook Operations & Product Support
Support the daily management of the sportsbook across multiple brands and markets.
Help ensure the sportsbook product is correctly configured, commercially relevant, and aligned with the sporting calendar.
Monitor sportsbook presentation, and assist with testing and quality assurance of sportsbook features, promotions, landing pages, and campaign journeys.
Identify product issues, content gaps, UX friction, or operational risks and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
CRM, Promotions & Retention
Support the planning and execution of sportsbook-led CRM campaigns, both automated and ad-hoc.
Help build and maintain a sporting events calendar to guide promotional activity and customer communications.
Assist in developing sportsbook promotions around major fixtures, tournaments, seasonal events, and local market opportunities.
Work with CRM and marketing teams to ensure sportsbook messaging is accurate, timely, relevant, and commercially focused.
Commercial Performance & Reporting
Track sportsbook KPIs including turnover, GGR, margin, bet count, active customers, bonus cost, retention, and campaign ROI.
Analyse performance around key sporting events, promotions, customer segments, and market types.
Contribute to post-campaign reviews, event performance analysis, and ongoing optimisation of sportsbook activity.
Support commercially focused decision-making by identifying where sportsbook activity is driving value and where improvements are needed.
Help identify opportunities to improve customer activity, reactivation, conversion, and repeat betting behaviour.
Cross-Functional Execution
Work closely with CRM, product, BI, frontend, acquisition, and operations teams.
Help translate sportsbook priorities into clear tasks, campaign requirements, and operational follow-ups.
Support the delivery of sportsbook improvements in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Take ownership of defined projects or recurring operational processes as agreed with the Head of Sports.
Weekend Sporting Coverage
Provide occasional weekend sportsbook coverage, shared equally with the Head of Sports. This is expected to amount to approximately 3–4 hours every second weekend, mainly to support key sporting events, homepage content, promotions, and operational checks.
The Successful Candidate:
Previous experience in a sportsbook operations, gaming, trading, CRM, or sportsbook product role.
Strong understanding of sports betting products, markets, odds, promotions, and customer behaviour.
Experience working with project management, reporting, or analytics tools such as JIRA, Power BI, Excel, SQL, or similar platforms.
Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how sportsbook decisions affect turnover, margin, retention, and profitability.
Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, CRM, trading, BI, support, frontend, and operations teams.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to work with reports, dashboards, campaign results, and sportsbook KPIs.
High attention to detail, especially around promotions, betting rules, event timing, customer messaging, and market presentation.
Desirable Experience:
Experience working across multiple brands, countries, or regulated markets.
Familiarity with sportsbook platforms, trading tools, CRM tools, bonus engines, or reporting dashboards.
Experience with live betting, bet builders, free bets, reload offers, cashback, boosted odds, or other sportsbook promotions.
Understanding of customer segmentation, retention journeys, and sportsbook lifecycle campaigns.
Experience using BI tools, Excel, SQL, or dashboard reporting to support commercial decisions.
Knowledge of major European and international sports calendars.
Previous exposure to affiliate-driven or performance-marketing-led sportsbook environments.
