Head of Marketing Job - iGaming - Onsite, Dubai

About the Role:
We are hiring a Head of Marketing to lead and grow marketing operations across sportsbook and casino for both Online and Land-based platforms in multiple African markets.
This role focuses on building a high-performance marketing team, executing multi-market strategies, driving player acquisition and retention, and ensuring marketing decisions are data-led and compliant with local regulations. You will work closely with commercial, product, compliance, and local teams to deliver a trusted and locally relevant brand presence while optimising performance and player lifetime value.
Job Responsibilities:
Define and execute the multi-market marketing strategy across sportsbook and casino for both Online and Land-based operations
Own marketing budgets, forecasts, and performance targets (CPA, LTV, ARPU)
Build and lead a high-performance marketing team across acquisition, retention and brand
Align marketing strategy with commercial, product and compliance teams
Report performance and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
Lead go-to-market strategies for new African markets
Work with In Country Managers or local partners to ensure localised messaging, creatives & bonuses
Work with country managers or local partners on language & cultural relevance
Support licence and regulatory requirements from a marketing perspective
Build a trusted, locally relevant brand presence in priority African markets
Manage sponsorships (clubs, leagues, influencers, media partners)
Oversee ATL/BTL campaigns where appropriate (radio, OOH, retail, activations)
Ensure consistent brand identity across all touchpoints
Own CRM strategy across sportsbook and casino
Drive retention via bonuses & promotions, personalisation & segmentation, and SMS, push, WhatsApp, email campaigns
Track and optimise marketing performance using analytics and attribution tools
Monitor cohort performance by country, channel, product, and payment method
Use insights to improve player quality, retention, and lifetime value
Ensure marketing decisions are data-led, not vanity-driven
Ensure all marketing activity complies with local gambling regulations, advertising standards, and responsible gambling principles
The Successful Candidate:
A solid background in digital/online marketing, with senior leadership experience
Strong background in iGaming & betting
Proven experience in African markets – bonus for experience in Francophone, English, and Spanish language countries
Experience operating across multiple African markets (or emerging markets)
