As the Art Director, you’ll be the creative lead and main decision-maker for all visual aspects of game production. You'll manage a team of artists and animators, contribute hands-on to design and animation, and serve as the go-to contact for all things art-related. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Spine animation and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creative Direction: Define and execute the visual style and art strategy for each game.
• Project Management: Plan and manage timelines, resources, and budgets for art production.
• Art Production: Lead and contribute to the creation of high-quality art and animation.
• Team Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the art and animation team, offering guidance and feedback.
• Feedback Management: Organize and communicate feedback clearly to ensure consistent improvement.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align visuals with game goals.
• Creative Process Oversight: Ensure the creative vision is realized from concept to final delivery.

The Successful Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience producing art in the slot or video game industry.
• Strong portfolio that shows ability to turn ideas into visually compelling games.
• Skilled with Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in both 2D and 3D animation; knowledge of animation principles is a plus.
• Comfortable working with Spine or similar animation tools.
• Solid understanding of the full game development process.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Strong eye for illustration, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Deep understanding of visual elements—color, texture, lighting, proportion, depth, etc.
• Able to adapt to different illustration styles and bring abstract ideas to life.
