About the Hiring Company:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Finance to join a growing international team based in Nicosia. This is a key leadership role, where you will take full ownership of the finance function and play a strategic role in supporting the company’s growth and expansion.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives

• Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly statements, budget variance analysis, and year-end reporting

• Manage payroll and all related activities

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations

• Partner with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team

• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and reporting processes

• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

• Identify and manage financial risks (credit, market, liquidity, operational)

• Lead financial planning and analysis to support business decision-making

• Drive continuous improvements across accounting and finance processes

The Successful Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA is a strong advantage)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, including leadership responsibilities

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial control

• Knowledge of statutory regulations and compliance requirements

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Hands-on experience with financial systems and tools

• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with systems such as BambooHR is an advantage

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure

• Leadership mindset with the ability to build and lead a finance function
