Strategic Business Development Consultant - iGaming - Remote, Europe
**This will begin as a Consultancy role with opportunity to advance full time if the relationship works well
Location: Remote, Europe preferred.
(Candidate will collaborate with teams based in the US - New York so time zone would be reflective of overlap)
About the Hiring Company:
We are an emerging iGaming provider preparing to scale across Sweepstakes. Our focus is on building a high-quality distribution network through direct operator partnerships and aggregator integrations.
We are seeking a senior commercial leader or consultant with deep industry relationships, strong technical-commercial understanding of API integrations, and proven experience scaling early-stage.
This is a foundational hire. the first senior commercial leader, with significant influence over go-to-market strategy and global expansion.
The successful candidate will:
Have a strong, pre-existing network of aggregators
Open doors with operators and aggregators
Structure and drive API integrations
Develop commercial strategy for sweepstakes and gray markets
Build and scale the commercial function
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Market Entry
Define and execute global commercial strategy across:
Sweepstakes markets
Global/unregulated markets
Identify high-potential operators and distribution channels
Establish positioning strategy for competitive aggregator environments
Operator & Aggregator Partnerships (Critical)
Leverage existing relationships to secure:
Operator agreements
Aggregator partnerships
Direct integration opportunities
Introduce the company to key decision-makers within:
Operators
Platform providers
Aggregators
Negotiate commercial agreements and revenue share models
API Integrations & Technical Commercial Oversight
Drive end-to-end integration process:
Commercial negotiation
Technical alignment
Launch execution
Work closely with internal product/tech teams to ensure smooth onboarding
Structure integration-based commercial models
Network Development
Activate personal industry network to accelerate distribution
Build sustainable long-term commercial relationships
Leadership & Scale
Act as the first commercial leader in the business
Develop scalable processes for:
Sales
Partnerships
Account Management
Potentially build and scale commercial team from early stage (e.g., scaling from small team to 20+ FTE as business grows)
The Successful Candidate:
5-8+ years in iGaming commercial roles.
A pre-existing network and strong connections with Aggregators is key for this role.
Secondary is strong sweepstakes experience and / or proven success in emerging global markets.
A strong command of English is mandatory. Any other language is a big plus (especially Spanish)
Background with leading suppliers, aggregators, or platforms (examples may include major European or international suppliers)
Entrepreneurial and comfortable operating in ambiguity
Commercially aggressive but strategically disciplined
Strong industry credibility
Existing C-level and relationships with decision-makers within operators and aggregator.
