Senior Business Development Manager (Asia) Job - iGaming - Remote

About the Role:
A high-risk payments provider operating globally is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to expand its payment partnerships and drive commercial growth across Asia.
This role replaces a long-standing Senior BD who built a strong foundation in the region. The new hire will continue scaling this work by strengthening the provider portfolio, unlocking new payment opportunities, and contributing directly to revenue.
Role Overview:
The Senior BD Manager will be responsible for sourcing new payment providers, managing end-to-end relationships, supporting payment sales, and driving strategic expansion in Asian markets. The role requires deep familiarity with high-risk payment ecosystems, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Payment Provider Partnerships
Identify, source, and engage new payment providers across Asian high-risk markets.
Lead commercial negotiations, onboarding, integration coordination, and ongoing relationship management.
Expand and optimise the provider portfolio through improved conditions and operational growth.
Business Development & Strategy
Develop and execute regional BD strategies to support long-term expansion.
Build business cases and financial models for new opportunities.
Evaluate and contribute to the launch of new payment solutions (success and fail cases included).
Sales & Revenue Contribution
Support payment sales and revenue generation through partner and client engagement.
Leverage existing networks and create new opportunities to drive growth.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Account Management teams.
Operational Collaboration
Act as the link between providers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, technical alignment, and process improvement.
The Successful Candidate:
Minimum 4+ years of experience in high-risk payments, PSP management, acquiring, or payment provider relations.
Strong understanding of the Asian payments ecosystem, including PSPs and APMs.
Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of provider relationships.
Experience launching own payment solutions.
Ability to contribute to payment sales and revenue-focused activities.
Strong commercial negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with iGaming / high-risk payments is required.
Fluent in Chinese and English.
Must be based in Asia.
