Payment Service Provider (PSP) Relationships Manager Job - iGaming - Limassol, Cyprus

About the Role:
The PSP Relationships Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with acquiring banks, payment service providers, and alternative payment networks worldwide. The role focuses on negotiating commercial terms, optimizing payment routing, improving processing costs, and ensuring smooth collaboration between internal teams and external partners to achieve strong transaction performance and client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of iGaming merchants, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
- Engage with clients regularly to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, ensuring solutions align with their strategies.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling payment products and services.
- Conduct regular business reviews to share performance data, new features, and market insights.
Account Management & Support
- Oversee daily operational needs of client accounts, ensuring seamless payment processing and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Technical Support, Risk, Compliance, and Product to resolve client issues promptly.
- Monitor key metrics (transaction success rates, chargebacks, processing volumes) and provide insights for improvement.
- Manage contract renewals and renegotiations to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
Strategy & Business Development
- Serve as a subject matter expert on gaming and payments trends, regulations, and competitive developments.
- Lead initiatives to improve client satisfaction and retention.
- Provide market feedback to the product team to guide future offerings.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date records of client communications and account activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare reports on account performance, client feedback, and market trends for senior management.
- Ensure all client contracts and documents comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
The Successful Candidate:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in payments, PSP management, acquiring relationships, or merchant acquiring.
- Solid understanding of the global payment ecosystem (card schemes, APMs, FX settlement, chargebacks, and risk controls).
- Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements and manage high-value PSP partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of payment routing, BIN sponsorships, merchant onboarding, and compliance with card schemes.
- Experience in iGaming, eCommerce, FinTech, or other high-risk merchant sectors is an advantage.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled negotiator with a commercial mindset.
- Organized, results-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
- Understanding of compliance and risk management in payments.
- Experience in the iGaming sector is preferred.
