PSP Onboarding Manager Job - iGaming - Onsite, Limassol, Cyprus
Location: Limassol, Cyprus (On-site)
Role Overview:
The Onboarding Manager oversees the full merchant onboarding process, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient transition from sales handover to live payment processing. The role acts as a link between Sales, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to guarantee that all new merchants meet regulatory standards and are set up for long-term success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize the merchant onboarding process from document collection to account activation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technical teams to ensure seamless onboarding workflows.
- Review and validate merchant KYC, KYB, and due diligence documentation, escalating any discrepancies or risk concerns.
- Coordinate internal sign-offs and approvals for new merchant accounts.
- Ensure merchant configurations, MID setups, and payment gateway integrations are completed accurately and on time.
- Track and report onboarding metrics such as average onboarding time, completion rate, and drop-offs.
- Deliver an excellent merchant experience through proactive communication and support during onboarding.
- Identify process gaps, propose automation opportunities, and collaborate with product or tech teams for improvements.
- Support the launch of new jurisdictions, verticals, and products by aligning onboarding processes with local regulations.
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT and PCI DSS standards.Train and mentor junior onboarding specialists or analysts.
The Successful Candidate:
- 1–2 years of experience in merchant onboarding, client operations, or compliance within a PSP, Acquirer, or FinTech environment.
- Strong understanding of payment flows, acquirer relationships, and transaction monitoring.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple onboarding pipelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM or onboarding tools (e.g., Salesforce or custom PSP platforms).
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with industries such as iGaming, crypto, or forex.
- Knowledge of European, UK, or UAE regulatory environments.
- Understanding of API integrations or payment gateway setups.

- Reduction in average onboarding time.
- High merchant satisfaction scores after onboarding.
