About the Company

Our partner is growing fast and looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team. They’ve built a technically advanced platform for the iGaming industry and are now one of the market leaders. The company started with a poker product and has since expanded into a globally used casino platform, powering gaming companies worldwide.

About the Role:

As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll play a key role in backend development and system architecture. You’ll work on scalable, high-performance services and influence how things are built—from technical decisions to ways of working.

While the role is backend-focused, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to frontend work if you’re interested. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, product owners, and fellow developers to deliver clean, maintainable code and real customer value.

The dev team is growing fast and will soon split into two smaller units, giving you more ownership, tighter collaboration, and clearer focus.

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring
• Contribute to system architecture and design decisions
• Work across the stack when needed
• Collaborate closely with product and design to shape technical solutions
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and processes

The Successful Candidate:

• Several years of experience with Java and Spring
• Solid understanding of SQL
• Interest in frontend technologies is a plus
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• You’re a team player with a strong sense of code quality and ownership

Nice to Have:

• JavaScript / TypeScript and React
• Docker / Kubernetes
• AWS or cloud infrastructure
