Location: Remote, Philippines

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our iGaming platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of non-functional requirements, such as CPU utilization, memory utilization, disk storage, and network performance. They will be proficient in using monitoring tools like Grafana and Azure Application Insights to identify and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze system performance: Proactively monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to CPU utilization, memory utilization, disk storage, network bandwidth, and other relevant metrics.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues: Utilize monitoring tools and deep technical knowledge to identify and troubleshoot performance issues, software bugs, and system failures.
• Assess severity and prioritize incidents: Accurately assess the severity of incidents and prioritize them based on their potential impact on the system and business operations.
• Mitigate and resolve issues: Implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of incidents and work diligently to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Utilize monitoring tools: Proficiently use monitoring tools like Grafana and Azure Application Insights to visualize system performance, identify trends, and detect anomalies.
• Understand non-functional requirements: Possess a deep understanding of non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, reliability, and security, and their impact on the iGaming platform.
• Experience in iGaming: Have experience working in an iGaming environment, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of the industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network operations or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies.
• Proficiency in using monitoring tools like Grafana and Azure Application Insights.
• Experience with troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the iGaming industry is a plus.
