Job Description:

As a Sports Content Writer - Japan, your role will involve creating and managing a variety of content related to popular Japanese sports and betting markets. You'll need to have a deep understanding of Japanese sports culture and be able to translate and localize content with a focus on engaging sports enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write, edit, proofread, and publish compelling content focused on Japanese sports betting, including baseball, soccer, and more.
• Research: Proactively research trends and insights related to Japanese sports and betting to create relevant and engaging content.
• Social Media Management: Develop and execute daily content posts for social media channels, emphasizing popular sports and betting content.
• Content Improvement: Review and enhance existing content to boost user engagement and achieve better results in the sports betting domain.
• Collaboration: Work with other teams and stakeholders to plan and develop content strategies for brand sites, marketing materials, CRM content, social media, and blogs.
• Project Management: Oversee the entire content creation process to ensure timely delivery and high quality.
• Outsourced Content Management: Proofread, amend, and manage outsourced content to align with brand standards and objectives.

The Successful Candidate:

• Native Japanese Speaker: Native-level Japanese language skills with a deep understanding of Japanese sports and betting culture.
• English Proficiency: Excellent command of English for translating and trans-creating content, as well as for internal communication.
• Passionate About Sports: Strong interest in Japanese sports, particularly baseball and other popular betting sports.
• Content Expertise: Experience in a similar role, ideally within the iGaming or sports betting industry.
• Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Japanese sports and betting market.
• Research Skills: Ambitious and proactive in researching and gathering information to create high-quality content.
• Tech Savvy: Willingness to learn and use new CMS tools and platforms.
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized, professional, and able to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Preferred Skills:
