About the Hiring Company: We are an iGaming company (B2B/B2C) and looking for a Head of Human Resources for our team in Malaysia. We are an aggregator who also build their own software and games, along with this we also provide marketing services, BPO services, and programming services based on our client's requirements

Job Description:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the HR Department.
  • Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure compliance with the government authorities i.e. such as EPF, SOCSO and LHDN.
  • Effectively liaised between senior management and employees to maintain and improve company-employee relations.
  • Familiar with all HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, HR management system, Performance Management, Talent Management).
  • Maintain and review the Company’s HR Policy, SOPs and Employee Handbook and recommend improvements on HR practices and in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee discipline or employee relations issues, grievances and counselling on work-related problems.
  • Manage all day-to-day HR operations matters and ensuring that it is completed on time.
  • Establishes the company wage and salary structure, pay policies and oversees.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Manage and effectively execute both performance and rewards management process.
  • Undertake any ad hoc assignments or tasks assigned by the Director.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Human Resources management or related.
  • 6+ years of experience in an HR role
  • Know Employment Act 1955 well
  • Malaysian passport holder
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English
  • iGaming is a plus but not a must
  • Prefer candidates from iGaming, IT, or eCommerce
  • Target oriented and meticulous on number and details.
  • Excellent time management and organizational ability to ensure that KPI and all tasks assigned and deliverables are completed as per the timeline; or earlier.
  • Protect company’s information and interest at all times.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and regulation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High EQ and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, diligent & responsive. Responsible, accountable, and adapt to changes quickly.
  • High discipline, independent, multitasking, and meticulous.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skill
